NTSAD annual Family Conference
The NTSAD Annual Family Conference aims to support families affected by Tay-Sachs and other diseases that are always fatal in children. The conference allows people to connect with others leading similar lives; people can learn about new research advances and symptom management, and can discuss a variety of other important topics.
Every year, more than forty thousand dollars is raised; and all money goes directly to helping families attend the conference. Parents can also donate used equipment, and share stories and friendships formed. (NTSAD, 2015)

NTSAd day of hope
NTSAD's Day of Hope is an annual event to fund NTSAD research. The event involves a sponsored walk, and is also a chance for affected families to bring their communities together in support. Since the first annual NTSAD Day of Hope on September 18th 2011, more than $122 000 has been raised. (NTSAD, 2014)
